Little City in Space Syndicated Series Episode 7

Highlight of show #7, re-broadcast on KFAI Sunday May 25 at 9:30 p.m. (CST), is Peter Stenshoel’s Slappy the Clown interview. Slappy,  “Clown of Industry,” is a roving resident of the orbiting community on a peculiar mission encouraging shopping Little Citizens to buy more things. Slappy is portrayed by Bill Prosser:

Bill Prosser

William Prosser (1942-1991) was a professor of theatre at Brooklyn College of City University of New York. He ran the Tennessee Williams Fine Art Center in Key West. He directed six productions of Williams’ plays, five of which the playwright saw, criticized, and quite often praised. In the book The Late Plays of Tennessee Williams, Prosser reassesses the playwright’s later works.

img004.4The solar system premier of a new work by extraterrestrial composer Glagnu Whick highlights Episode 4 of Little City in Space‘s syndicated series, featured the last Sunday each month on KFAI‘s Sound Affects. Listen  February 23, 2014 (Sunday) 9:30 p.m. (CST).

#4 includes a visit from Bishopess Shepherdess Iris; Paul Bunny; commercials for The Invisible College; and Lefsa Center.

Little City in Space Download Revue #1

The broadcasts of the Download Revue (2001-2006), courtesy of KFAI’s Musical Transportation Spree, were hosted by Little City in Space co-founder Stuart Mathews, and Chuck Isle, LCS fan since 1979. They accessed the memory library of the Bob-2000 computer to re-play old LCS radio shows; also feature new contributions from The Post Void Radio Theater, as well as the talents of Mark Masyga.DSCN9440-daBoyz
